The building was formerly the 'Australian Bank of Commerce' and residence, and then became the 'Bank of New South Wales' between 1931 and 1955. As the white plastic, printed sign on the right-hand side of the entry says:
GLOUCESTER CENTENARY YEAR
1903 - 2003
Australian Bank of Commerce and
Manager's Residence, built in 1914.
It was the
Bank of New South Wales
between 1931 - 1955.
The building has been used as
Solicitor's Chambers since then.
[From a sign commemorating the Centenary Year of Gloucester, in 2003.]
It is now used by Turner Freeman Lawyers.
