A Postkutschensäule (German for stage coach column) was a marker along a German stage coach line used either as a milestone or indicating a coach stopping point. Traditionally, they were most commonly made in the form of granite obelisks.

This obelisk is a 12 feet tall restored Prussian stage coach marker dating back to the 18th century and marking the stage coach stop at the market square in the ancient town of Brandenburg.
