Vor dem Dom von Klagenfurt befindet sich eine 1686 von Johann Claus geschaffene Marienstatue auf einem Sockel mit einer lateinischen Inschrift, die auch ein Chronogramm enthält:
haec statua primitus posita fuit ob liberatam obsidione vieñam caesis fugatisque turcis duodecima mensis septembris

subinde elapsis centenis binisqve añis renovata fvit ab aliqvo mariophilo
Das Chronogramm verweist auf das Jahr 1683. Auf der Rückseite des Sockels befindet sich eine weitere Inschrift mit weiteren Informationen über den Figurenbildstock:
Diese Statue wurde ursprünglich aufgestellt aufgrund der Befreiung Wiens von der Belagerung; nachdem die Türken vernichtet und in die Flucht geschlagen worden waren am zwölften September (sc. 1683)
Gewidmet der Jungfrau und Gottesmutter für die Schutzherrin der Christen
Danach wurde sie, nachdem einhundertundzwei Jahre vergangen waren, von einem Marienfreund wiederhergestellt.
Im Jahre 2002 wurde die vorhandene Marienskulptur restauriert und mit einem Sockelpodest versehen.

In front of Klagenfurt Cathedral there is a statue of the Virgin Mary created by Johann Claus in 1686 on a pedestal with a Latin inscription, which also contains a chronogram:

The chronogram refers to the year 1683. On the back of the pedestal there is another inscription with further information about the figural wayside shrine:
This statue was originally erected after the liberation of Vienna from the siege; after the Turks were destroyed and fled on the twelfth of September (sc. 1683)
Dedicated to the Virgin and Mother of God for the Patroness of Christians
Then, after one hundred and two years had passed, it was restored by a friend of Mary.
In 2002 the sculpture of the Virgin Mary was restored and a pedestal was added.
