The Victoria Hall was built in 1888 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. The classical Grade II listed building is built in local red brick and terracotta. It was renovated in the late nineteen-nineties and has been at the heart of the Cultural Quarter. It has a capacity of 1,500 and has established itself as a popular venue for concerts and rock gigs.
