The park was created when the town of Berry was bypassed by the Princes Highway in 2017. The sculpture leans towards the west & acts as the guardian tree of saplings and other young trees in the park.

Mention is made of the sculpture in a release of the official opening of the park by the Shoalhaven City Council here: (visit link)
