Located in the Rainbow Springs State Park is a visitors center. This visitors center is mostly a gift shop with very little information on the actual state park. It is also the location for the passport stamps.
A $2.00 fee is charged for entering the park, and parking is free. The visitor center counter is adjacent to the entrance booth to the park. If you are lucky you can get the park staff person collecting fees to stamp your passport for free without paying a fee if you did not want to enter the park.
This park is being renovated, so a lot of construction is in progress. However it is still open to enjoy. Please consider paying the $2.00 fee and do a walk-a-bout through some of the gardens and the swimming area to view the springs. It is well worth the price.
