Life’s Garden silhouette sculpture by Kathy Kreager is located in downtown South Haven, Michigan. The sculpture depicts flowers, vines, and leaves in silhouette form.
"Life's Garden" honors the memory of Glenn Pietenpol. The sculpture is outside the Chemical Bank building, corner of Phoenix and Center. Mr. Pietenpol taught high school chemistry and algebra at Sparta High School and was a senior vice president and trust officer for Chemical Financial Corporation. The sculpture was made possible by the Greater South Haven Area Community Foundation.
The text on the plaque states: “Life’s Garden” Kathy Kreager In honor of Glenn Pietenpol, founding member of the Greater South Haven Area Community Foundation, loving husband, father, grandfather, and community leader. The greater South haven Area Community Foundation. for good. for all.
