The fully-restored cutaway boat is located in the lounge/lobby area inside the welcome Center. The nearby information marker states:
"The 'Miss Cut-Away' is a living dictionary of boat-building terminology where you can read the names of the various parts and clearly see their position in the hull. The multitude of open sections in the hull, deck and transom became the inspiration for the name Miss Cut-away."
The boat is a reminder of the large boating areas located in the Thousand Islands and the North Country in general.
