Located on SE Hansel Avenue about 1.5 miles south of US Highway 70 is a bridge that crosses Joshua Creek. This bridge originally built in 1983 replaced the older bridge that crossed the creek. It has since been re-built in 2011. It still has a plank surface that spans Joshua Creek and its floodplain.
This is a two lane plank bridge that sees daily light traffic use with occasional heavy truck use. It is owned and maintained by DeSoto County.
