This cross is huge, about 10 feet tall. Made from, two like diameter logs, and resembling the biblical version of the crucifixion cross.
The cross stands along side the cemetery, just off the parking lot between the church and cemetery.
"New Galilee Christian Church: In the northwest part of Monroe Township. In 1898 the congregation met at the old log Wilson Schoolhouse and organized the church. The building was erected in 1900.
