Although the original Mingo logbook is not the one in the geocache, the current ones have been around since August 5, 2017 (the earliest dated log we could find). This historic guest book is signed by geocachers from all over the world.

Mingo is the oldest active geocache in the world. To celebrate its contribution to the hobby, a historical marker was placed nearby in May 2020, the 20th anniversary.
