Colby Kansas is in western Kansas, and has a large travel center that is a great place to stop for a rest, fill up on gas, grab a drink or something to eat, let the kids play in the playground, and let the dogs run around in the dog park.
The palm trees are located near the entrance to the travel center parking lot, on the south side of I-70. There are currently 3, but there were 5 to start with but winds broke two of them in 2018.
