I det gamle missionhus i Mikkelsgade var indgangen kønsopdelt. In the former missionary house there was gender seperated entrances.

Det gamle missionshus i Hirtshals blev bygget i 1898 og fungerede helt frem til 1957, hvor det blev nedlagt.
Når man er trådt indenfor i den lille entré kan man benytte to døre for at komme videre. Den ene til mænd, og den anden til kvinder. I dag findes der et fantastisk museum: Ulriks Ursamling, som er en privat udstilling med tusindvis af ure. Museet har åbent for offentligheden hver weekend.

The old missionary house in Hirtshals was built in 1898. It was active until 1957. Rigth after you enter the building you can use two doors: One for men and one for women.
Today there is a fantastic clock museum with thousands of privately collected clocks. The museum is open to the public during weekendd.
