EN: This transformer substation tower stands on Schulgasse in Biel-Benken. The tower has a pyramidal roof and a square floor plan. Between the floors, it is divided with a cornice. The station dates back to the 1920s and is still in operation. Although there are no more overhead lines, their well-preserved insulators are still mounted. It is the same building type as the station on Neuweilerstrasse in the west of the village.
DE: Dieser Trafoturm steht an der Schulgasse von Biel-Benken. Der Turm hat ein Pyramidendach und einen quadratischen Grundriss. Zwischen den Stockwerken ist er mit einem Gesims unterteilt. Die Station stammt aus dem 1920 Jahren und ist noch in Betrieb. Es gibt zwar keine Freileitungen mehr, ihre gut erhaltenen Isolatoren sind aber noch vorhanden. Es handelt sich um denselben Bautyp wie die Station an der Neuweilerstrasse im Westen des Dorfes.
