Het oorlogsmonument in Lopik-dorp (gemeente Lopik) is een kalkstenen beeldengroep van één staande en twee zittende mannenfiguren die allen in dezelfde richting kijken. De twee onderste, aan elkaar geboeide figuren symboliseren het verdrukte volk (de bezetting). De bovenste figuur, met een rol in zijn hand, stelt de bevrijding voor en geeft door zijn 'ommanteling' van het geheel aan dat alle drie de figuren voor hetzelfde doel (de vrijheid) hebben gestreden. Het beeld is geplaatst op een zuilvormig, vierkant voetstuk. De beeldengroep is 3 meter hoog, 70 centimeter breed en 70 centimeter diep. Het voetstuk is bijna 2 meter hoog.
De tekst op het voetstuk luidt:
'DEN VADERLANDT GHETROUWE
BLIJF IK TOT IN DEN DOET'.
Hieronder zijn de namen en de geboorte- en overlijdensdata van vier omgekomen dorpsgenoten aangebracht.

The war memorial in Lopik village (Lopik municipality) is a limestone sculpture group of one standing and two seated male figures, all looking in the same direction. The two lower, hand-tied figures symbolize the oppressed people (the occupation). The top figure, with a role in his hand, represents liberation and, through its 'covering' of the whole, indicates that all three figures have fought for the same goal (freedom). The statue is placed on a columnar square base. The sculpture group is 3 meters high, 70 centimeters wide and 70 centimeters deep. The pedestal is almost 2 meters high.
The text on the pedestal is a line from the national anthem of the Netherlands, the Wilhelmus:
'DEN VADERLANDT GHETROUWE
BLIJF IK TOT IN DEN DOET' (I will be faithful to the nation even to the death).
Below are the names and the birth and death dates of four villagers who have died.
