AIC has chosen the predatory social wasps known as the yellow jacket to be it's mascot. They gave him the name Rex. You can find his wooden sculpture on the west side of the Old Science Building. The 4' high by 4' wide wood carving rests on a 2' high wooden platform. The sculpture is modeled after the yellow jacket image used by the AIC. Rex has to arms with white hands formed into fists. The wings are white as are the bottom of the feet and the stinger. The school initials AIC are inscribed across Rex's body.
