The original Hideaway pizza in Stillwater is temporarily closed after an employee tests positive for COVID-19.
In accordance with CDC Guidelines and instructions from Payne County Health Department, they are conducting a deep cleaning including disinfecting.
According to a post on Hideaway's Facebook, they have been following strict protocols including masks, gloves, and temperature testing of employees since thee pandemic began.
When they learned of the employee's positive test they closed the location and sent every other employee to get tested.
The location is working with the Payne County Health Department to determine when it is safe to reopen.
"The health and safety of our guests and employees is of the utmost concern, and we will continue to take the necessary precautions." Hideaway officials said.
