This is an impressive monument, made of red granite and standing about twelve feet high, topped by an urn. The reverse is blank. The family initial, "C", is above Mrs. Calfee's death mask on the front, which is flanked by columns. The family name is just above the plinth, and "To my beloved wife by C.J. Calfee" is below the death mask. Palm leaves are on the front plinth.

The mask itself is in pretty good condition, although a bit of the nose is missing. The detail on her dress is a bit worn.

On Mrs. Calfee's side of the monument, her personal information is below a medallion with a dove of peace at the center. The inscription reads:

Memoria J. Calfee
1834 * 1900
-----
Gone but not forgotten

----------

On Mr. Calfee's side of the monument, his service during the Civil War is noted by "U.C.V.", and his inscription reads:

Calvin J. Calfee
1836 * 1906
-----
He is at rest

----------

There are also footstones to complement the monument, with "Memoria J." and "Calvin J." across the top of each one.
