"OLIVER COMMUNITY GARDEN
The Oliver Community Garden Society is a community garden located at the Quail's Nest Arts Centre across from the airport.
The garden welcomes gardeners of all ages and abilities. Their raised beds are easy to work and are great for both young and old. They have even designed some four-foot high raised beds for easier accessibility from scooters or wheelchairs.
Volunteers are the backbone of the gardens from the work they do helping in the gardens to fundraising to donations, the Oliver Community Garden Society would not be possible were it not for its dedicated volunteers.
What types of people join the Oliver Community Garden Society?
People who have limited or no space for gardening at their homes.
People who are interested in learning about gardening.
People with gardening experience who would like to share their knowledge."

Explore Oliver
Exploring the area, looking for the art gallery and discovered the community garden hidden away behind the Quail's Nest Arts Centre. It was started in 2009 and moved to its current location in 2013. There is a tool shed with basic garden implements and hoses for use. There is a compost bin for most garden discards, with a few exceptions.
The community garden provides fresh produce to the Oliver Food Bank when in excess.
