The Oliver Indoor Flea Market is the largest indoor flea market in the Okanagan. Started in 2002, it is still attracting local residents and tourists alike.
The flea market is now open Saturdays 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and Sundays 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. There is also on the weekends open air vendors in the parking area.
There are two vendors that seem to be open every day starting about 8:00 am. One primarily offers used furniture and a mixture of household items, tools and some home decor. The other year round vendor has a mix of just about everything, however is primarily a used books seller.
This is one of only a few flea markets that I have seen since being in Canada. I have been to the Oliver Indoor Flea Market on several occasions and this weekend to look at an eclectic mix of merchandise offered it the main portion of the flea market. There are about thirty booths with vendors on site. The majority of the merchandise is used, mixed in with some new items. Much to my surprise there was a Watkins dealer, mostly offering their spices and flavorings.
