As a State-Certified Visitor Center we provide general visitor information for Fairfax City, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., including lodging, restaurants, transportation and historic and natural attractions. We also are the place to find out about special events in and around the City.
The museum produces permanent and special exhibitions on Fairfax City and Fairfax County history; hosts touring exhibitions on broader historic topics; and provides educational outreach to school and youth groups.
Hours of Operation:
NEW HOURS: Starting JULY 14 Open Daily, 11 am - 4 pm Closed New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (at Noon), Christmas Day.
