This brand new casino, owned by the Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma, is on the east side of I-35, just south of Highway 412/Cimarron turnpike.
According to the 500 nations website, the facility will have a 10,000 foot casino, 290 gaming machines, food service, and a smoke shop. About 90 full time and part time employees will be hired. The website states that if the casino is successful, future plans include a hotel, fine dining, and a convenience store with a fueling station.
This is a colorful building, easily seen on I-35. At the front is a teepee constructed of over a dozen pipes, with colorful bands (red, yellow, white, black) and a red feather.
