EN: The parish church of San Cristoforo is located a little north of the historic village center of Caslano on Via Chiesa.
The building was first mentioned in 1352 as a Romanesque chapel. The current church was built from 1636 to 1653 in Baroque style. The old chapel was preserved; today it is the sacristy and stands at an inclined angle south of the unplastered church tower. The whitewashed main facade is structured with pilaster strips and a cornice. There are figures of saints above the corners and at the top. The mosaic of St. Christopher was created by Aurelio Gonzato in 1965.
IT: La chiesa parrocchiale di San Cristoforo si trova poco a nord del centro storico del paese di Caslano in Via Chiesa.
L'edificio fu menzionato per la prima volta nel 1352 come cappella romanica. L'attuale chiesa fu costruita dal 1636 al 1653 in stile barocco. La vecchia cappella è stata conservata; oggi è la sacrestia e si trova ad angolo inclinato a sud del campanile non intonacato. La facciata principale imbiancata è strutturata con lesene e un cornicione. Ci sono figure di santi sopra gli angoli e in alto. Il mosaico di San Cristoforo è stato realizzato da Aurelio Gonzato nel 1965.

Das Bauwerk wurde 1352 als romanische Kapelle erstmals erwähnt. Die heutige Kirche wurde von 1636 bis 1653 in barocken Stil neu erbaut. Die alte Kapelle blieb erhalten; sie ist heute die Sakristei und steht in einem schrägen Winkel südlich des unverputzten Kirchturms. Die weiss getünchte Hauptfassade ist mit Lisenen und einem Gesims strukturiert. Über den Ecken und an der Spitze befinden sich Heiligenfiguren. Das Mosaik des heiligen Christophorus wurde 1965 von Aurelio Gonzato geschaffen.
