This house is located in the main square of Barranco, a historical quarter and one of the nicest areas of Lima, capital city of Peru.
There is a historical marker on the wall. It is written there that in this house Don Juan Luis Rospigliosi y Gomez Sanchez started the scouts movement in Peru in 25th May 1911.
The plaque was placed on the 11th July 2004.
The building is now part of the Museum of Electricity complex.
