The ball field at March Central Park is used by the Kanata Cubs of the Kanata Baseball Association. In 2020, the field was frequently used by the Kanata Cubs under-13 team.

The park is in an almost rural setting. The ball park at March Central is well fenced, foul lines and home run. There is an interesting exit through the centre of the outfield fencing. The field is well lighted. The players benches are primitive and the one set of stands is old school.

The ball park in its present form dates back to the 1990s. However, baseball was being played here in the late 1960s as part of the yard behind the public school.
