Located at the ferry landing on the island is the Hontoon Island Ranger Station. It is located next to the Island Store and adjacent to the playground/picnic area. Be sure to visit the visitor center in the same building.

The ranger station is located on Hontoon Island. A free ferry is available to take visitors to the island. Parking for the ferry is located at 2309 River Ridge Road, Deland, FL. 32720
