[EN] I would like to invite you to visit the place where the mass grave of 89 soldiers killed during the Warsaw Uprising is located.
During the night of August 1 to 2, their unit started retreating from the town. During that they took part in the battle with the occupant, where in an uneven fight 31 insurgents were killed and the 60 wounded who remained alive were murdered by the Germans. After the war in 1946, the murdered were exhumed. The names of those who managed to be identified were placed on the monument. The entire burial area is entered in the register of monuments.
The monument is a big rectangular wall with the names of the killed soldiers (those who are known). The text on the top says "They died in the field of glory". The whole area is dedicated to them with a lot of grass and flowers planted all around. This place is very well maintained.
