The statue dedicated to Don Otero Pedrayo is the work of Buciños and dates from 1983. Commissioned by the City Council, it was temporarily located in the Alameda, until in 1988 it was moved to this place.

It is located in the Corregidor Square, to the east of the cathedral, and seems to invite you to contemplate the beautiful vision of its apse, the dome and the towers.
