The history of the Rowing and Sailing Club “Gouda” (RZVG) starts on February 4, 1911, the date of the foundation of the association in Gouda. Rowing and Sailing club “Gouda” is one of the oldest water sports clubs in the Netherlands. The buildings and grounds are located on the waterfront of the Gravenbroekseplas in Reeuwijk. The association offers countless opportunities for rowers and sailors.

In the period 1911 to the present, the RZVG has grown into an association with approximately 1000 members. Various Dutch, European and even world champions in both rowing and sailing have gained their basic knowledge and skills at our association. Experienced rowers / sailors or people who want to learn the sport are very welcome. The RZVG is CWO certified.
