North Delhi Cemetery consists of 3.26 acres and was purchased by the Delhi Township Board from Joshua North in 1852 at a cost of $55 The city of Lansing annexed the property in 1960when the city limits were expanded to include the cemetery property. The Cemetery name was shorted to North Cemetery and became the oldest cemetery in Lansing. North Cemetery is considered a pioneer cemetery because it is home veterans of every war since the Civil War.
