Rosemont Cemetery, final rest to about 6500 souls, is in southwest Wichita Falls. This cemetery encompasses the much smaller Hillcrest Cemetery, in the southwest corner; there is no boundary between the two. Oddly enough, this dual cemetery appears as "Crestview" on most maps. The cemetery was established in 1901 as Rosemont Burial Park. The cemetery fell into neglect and was restored in the 1970s. The City of Wichita Falls now owns and administers the cemetery.
