DE: In der jederzeit zugänglichen Grillhütte bei der Erftquelle wurde im Jahr 2019 in die Sitzfläche in der Nordwest-Ecke der Hütte eine Schnitzerei in Form einer etwa 2m hohen Säule integriert. Zu sehen ist am oberen Ende leicht stilisiert das Gebäude der Erftquelle mit dem Gitter und darüber die römische Jahreszahl 2019, zudem an der linken Seite ein Mühlrad, auf der rechten Seite ein Mühlstein und auf der Frontseite vertikal eingeschnitzt der Schriftzug "Erftquelle". Zwei in Baumstammstücke geschnitzte Tannen stützen die Sitzbank jeweils mittig. Gestaltet wurde die Säule von Marc Brück, verwendet wurden neben einer Kettensäge auch andere Werkzeuge zur Bearbeitung.

EN: In the barbecue hut near the Erft spring, which is accessible at all times, a carving in the form of an approximately 2m high column was integrated into the seating area in the northwest corner of the hut. At the top you can see the building of the Erft spring with the lattice and above it the Roman year 2019, as well as a mill wheel on the left, a millstone on the right and the writing "Erftquelle" carved vertically on the front. Two fir trees carved into pieces of tree trunks support the bench in the middle. The column was designed by Marc Brück, and other tools were used for processing in addition to a chainsaw.
