The northwest side of the Courtyard is where you can find this flower-shaped, kindness-themed mosaic. It is on the south side of a brick building, above some landscaping. "be kind" is the prominent message, with the art piece filled with inspiring quotes and messages from students. Not quite as big as the be kind words, but still prominent, are the following words at the very top of the mosaic: "Sabino High School Has the Courage To".
Some of the messages/quotes are:
Live, Love, Be kind
A warm smile is a universal language of kindness
Never look down on someone unless you're helping them up!
Be yourself...not what others make you be" Lacy Dichant
One gentle word is all that's needs to be heard
It's nice to be important but it's important to be nice
