EN: The Untervogtei is a late-Gothic house on Vorstadt in Villnachern.
It was built in 1578 and probably served as a residence for the administrator of the area appointed by the Bernese government.
It is attached to the former mill and has typical Gothic grooved window rows on the upper floor. Between the windows of the lower floor there is the relief of the coat of arms of Bern with the date 1578.
DE: Die Untervogtei ist ein spätgotscihes Haus an der Vorstadt in Villnachern.
Es wurde 1578 gebaut und diente wohl als Wohnsitz für den von der bernischen Regierung eingesetzten Verwalter der Gegend.
Es ist an die ehemalige Mühle angebaut und hat im oberen Stockwerk typische gotische gekehlte Fensterreihen. Zwischen den Fenstern des unteren Stockwerks befindet sich das Relief des Berner Wappens mit der Jahreszahl 1578.
