Hamlin
Hamlin became county seat, 1869. First court met , 1867, at Hamline Church (1 Mi. away), where, 1852~53, the Virginia Legislature established town of Hamline, named for Bisho Leonidas Lent Hamline of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
