Davenport, located in Lincoln County is on historic Route 66, approximately halfway between Oklahoma City and Tulsa. This is a picturesque little town, which has a brick street running through it.

The Davenport fire department consists of 22 volunteers. Of these 22, seven are EMTs. They serve the town and its surrounding rural area. The firehouse is a one-story metal building with a flat roof. There are six vehicle bays, four of which have glass windows. There is a warning siren located at the rear of the building, and a lovely Palmer mural on the south side of the building
