At the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, you’ll experience gardens with more than 1,700 species of plants, a variety of landscapes, meticulous gardens, wild hiking trails, and open prairie. Educational opportunities abound around every bend in the path. Dozens of sculptures line the path on the Sculpture Garden Trail, and wild birds flock at Margaret's Pond. Plan on several visits, you'll never see it all in one. And for a mere three bucks admission it's an inexpensive way to spend the day.
