[FIN] Turun sotaveteraanien muistomerkki on Aarne Ehojoen suunnittelema veistos Turun Samppalinnanpuistossa. Paljastamistilaisuus oli vuonna 1992.

Harmaasta graniitista veistetty taideteos koostuu jalustasta, nelikulmaisesta pylväästä ja pronssisesta tammenlehvästä. Tammenlehvä on viime sotien veteraanien tunnus ja se kuvaa kestävyyttä ja voimaa.

Veistokseen on kirjoitettu teksti Pro Patria 1939–1945.


[EN] The monument to the war veterans of Turku is a sculpture designed by Aarne Ehojoki in Turku's Samppalinnanpuisto. The unveiling ceremony was in 1992.

The work of art, carved from gray granite, consists of a pedestal, a rectangular column and a bronze oak leaf. Oak leaf is the emblem of veterans of the last wars and it describes endurance and strength.

The text Pro Patria 1939–1945 is written in the sculpture.
