The plaque says, "The Wave Wall, a 96' sequential piece, is composed of 16 six foot long high-density foam sections, adjacent to the "Creekside Terrace" of the community center.
Designed by artist Marisa Herman, a student at Cal State Fullerton, volunteers worked on each section of the wall during Tierra Natvia, Predlude in the Park, work parties at the city yard, and Artes de la Vida. It was completed as an Eagle Scout project.
Designed to emulate the meandering path of Oso Creek, mosaic tiles and brown slate stone were used in the construction.
The Wave Wall includes a water feature that emulates the creek's "source" of water.
It was installed in 2008 as part of the community center's grand opening and the city's 20th anniversary."
