The Lower Village Pound is located at the south side of the east end of Bates Street in North Brookfield, MA.

The town pound was one of the first two structures to be built in North Brookfield, after the meeting house. It was used to impound stray livestock until they could be reclaimed by their owner for a fee to the pound keeper.

A sign in front of the rectangular, low stone wall of the pound is inscribed:
