Anglican church of St Martin, in the Leicestershire village of Stapleton.
"St MARTIN. A small medieval fabric with window evidence of c. 1300 — one on the s side close to the w end (Y-tracery), a small lancet high up on the nave wall N of the tower, and traces of a square-headed c 14 window on the s side. The present windows are ungainly insertions by W. T. Grewcock of Leicester, 1906. Small w tower and short spire, the latter rebuilt by Grewcock, 1904-5. — GALLERY and BOX PEWS of 1808, a rare survival in Leicestershire."
