The collection of the Fick Fossil and History Museum includes more than 11,000 sharks teeth and many marine fossils, the world's oldest known mosasaur fossil, a 15 foot Xiphactinus Audax prepared by well-known fossil-hunter George Sternberg, and an extremely rare fossil of a mosasaur skull with its eye socket intact. Entry is free; donations are welcome. The Fick Museum and Oakley Public Library are housed in the same building.
