Das Marienforster Tal ist ein Naturschutzgebiet und Naherholungsgebiet im Süden von Bonn-Bad-Godesberg. Herzstück ist die Marienforster Promenade, ein schöner, etwa 1,2 km langer Spazierweg entlang des Godesberger Bachs. Er führt von der Trinkwasserquelle Draitschbrunnen bis zum Gut Marienforst, einem ehemaligen Rittergut. Unterwegs kann am Einkehrhaus Trimborn mit Minigolfanlage eine Pause eingelegt werden.

Fast ganz am südlichen Ende des Weges, in der Nähe vom Gut Marienforst, wurde eine überdachte Brücke gebaut. Die Marienforster Promenade überquert so den Godesberger Bach hier. Die Brücke hat eine Länge von etwa 12 Metern und ist komplett aus Holz gebaut. Bei dem Dach handelt es sich um ein Giebeldach mit einer Holzunterkonstruktion, die mit Dachpfannen bedeckt ist.

The Marienforster Tal is a nature reserve and local recreation area in the south of Bonn-Bad-Godesberg. The centerpiece is the Marienforster Promenade, a beautiful 1.2 km long walk along the creek Godesberger Bach. It leads from the drinking water source Draitschbrunnen to Gut Marienforst, a former manor. On the way you can take a break at the Trimborn inn with mini golf course.

A covered bridge was built almost at the very southern end of the path, near Gut Marienforst. The Marienforster Promenade crosses the Godesberger Bach here. The bridge has a length of about 12 meters and is made entirely of wood. The roof is a gable roof with a wooden substructure covered with pantiles.
