På Ærø er der en Bibelhave hvor man kan opleve den rute Jesus gik med sit kors på vej til Golgata, også kendt som Via Dolorosa.
Søren og Kirsten har indrettet hele deres have til denne bibelske vandring, hvor man over en 200 meter lang trækning kommer gennem alle stationer. Haven er altid åben for besøgende og der er gratis adgang.
Det specielle ved denne Via Dolorosa er, at den er kun er udført af genbrugsmaterialer og meget kreativt udført. Ved alle stationer kan man sidde ned og fordybe sig, flere steder er det en halv oversavet båd, som er omdannet til siddeplads. Ved indgangen til haven står der små hæfter med bibelske tekster, som man kan medbringe på turen rundt.
Som eksempler kan nævnes station 1, Jesus dømmes til døden. Her er en lille jernskulptur med en rød glassten. Station 11, Jesus nagles til korset. Her illusteret med en siddeplads i en båd, og nogle gamle jernnagler og en figur af Jesus på korset. Også et maleri med samme. Station 14, Jesus lægges i graven. Her ses en Jesus figur lagt under en gammel lampeskærm. Også her er siddepladsen en båd.
On Ærø there is a Bible garden where you can experience the path Jesus walked with his cross on the way to Calvary, also known as Via Dolorosa.
Søren and Kirsten have decorated their entire garden for this biblical walk. On a 200 meter long stretch you go through all stations.
The garden is always open to visitors and there is free admission.
The special thing about this Via Dolorosa is that it is only made of recycled materials and very creatively made. At all stations you can sit down and immerse yourself, in several places it is a half-sawn boat, which has been converted into a seat. At the entrance to the garden there are small booklets with biblical texts that you can take with you on the trip around.
Examples include station 1, Jesus is sentenced to death. Here is a small iron sculpture with a red glass stone. Station 11, Jesus is nailed to the cross. Here illustrated with a seat in a boat, and some old iron nails and a figure of Jesus on the cross. Also a painting with the same. Station 14, Jesus is laid in the tomb. Here is a figure of Jesus placed under an old lampshade with a lattice. Here, too, the seat is a boat.
