Carnegie Library - Wagoner, OK - Carnegie Library Buildings on Waymarking.com

This Carnegie Library was constructed in 1912 and served Wagoner for many years. When eventually replaced by a larger and more modern public library, the Carnegie building eventually found new life as the Three Rivers Genealogy Library. Unfortunately, issues with the roof forced the Genealogy Library to move to the Wagoner Public Library. According to this news article the Carnegie Building is currently uninhabitable; the fate of this beautiful building is uncertain. According to the web page linked below, seventeen of the twenty-four Carnegie Libraries in Oklahoma are still standing.
