Trammel's Trace is an early native-American trails. It was later surveyed by Nicholas Trammel (1780-1852) in 1824 and named in his honor. Trammel's Trace was an important immigration route to Texas. The trace is about 180 miles long, stretching from Fulton, AR to Nacogdoches, TX.
