Cattlemen's Café (also known as Cattlemen's Steak House) is Oklahoma's longest-running restaurant, serving workers here in the stockyard district since 1910. Many a celebrity has dined here - the list includes actors John Wayne, Ronald Reagan, and Gene Autrey; singer Reba McIntyre; and then-president George H. W. Bush. And before my waymarking days I was here at a fundraising dinner and the guest of honor was Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, the first woman elected to that position.
