In Robert Swindell's novella "Stone Cold", the main character is Link who is a homeless teen with no prospects in London. He becomes buddies with another homeless guy. Link spend the entire day begging as people enter and leave the National Gallery....netting nearly 4 pounds at the end of the day. His partner, Ginger, spent his time in a different part of Trafalgar Square.
