The Perro del Sol II sculpture is located in Holland, Michigan on the campus of Hope College. The sculpture is made entirely of steel and it is painted gray. Perro del Sol is mounted on four cement anchors. The sculpture, created by William “Billy” Mayer, an art professor at Hope College, is situated in a sunny location west of Phelps Hall.
