The historic town of Snaith is mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086 and probably predates that by a long way.

There was a history of brewing in the town until the last century and the brewery building has been a corn mill in the past and had malt kilns.

This building was renovated in 1983 and modern brewing equipment installed. It is mainly a local brewery and has 10 of its own pubs as well as supplying 150 others.
